Strengthening Solidarity, Polwan Task Force for Peace Operation Cartenz-2024 Jayapura Region Holds Community Service in Commemoration of Polwan Anniversary
Jayapura, August 29, 2024- In order to commemorate the 76th Anniversary of Polwan, the Policewomen (Polwan) who are members of the Peace Operation Cartenz-2024 Jayapura region held a Community Service (Baksos) activity at the Muhammadiyah Abepura Orphanage and the Pelangi Abepura Orphanage, in Jayapura city on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
This activity was attended directly by the Head of Peace Operation Cartenz-2024, Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H. who was represented by the Head of Intelligence Task Force for Peace Operation Cartenz-2024, Senior Commissioner Pol. Angling Guntoro, S.I.K,
Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, through Senior Commissioner Pol. Angling Guntoro In his statement, said that the theme of the 76th Anniversary of the Indonesian Women’s Police this year is “Precision Women’s Police Support the Acceleration of Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation Towards a Golden Indonesia”.
He added that the social service carried out by the Women’s Police of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force is in line with the theme, as a real effort to provide support to people in need.
In addition, the Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, Senior Commissioner Pol. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., also emphasized that in this social service activity, the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Women distributed basic food packages to residents of orphanages and nursing homes.
“It is hoped that this activity can help ease the burden on people in need and can support their economy,” said Senior Commissioner Pol. Dr. Bayu Suseno.
He also added that this social service activity not only provides material assistance, but also strengthens the ties of friendship and brotherhood between Polwan and local residents, which is expected to further strengthen good relations between the police and the community.
This activity received appreciation from the administrators of orphanages and nursing homes who felt helped by the support from Polwan Ops Damai Cartenz-2024.
