KKB Reacts in Dogiyai, Truck Driver Suffers Gunshot Wounds

Mimika- On Sunday, September 1 2024, at around 16:00 WIT, a shooting incident occurred in Kali Kasuari Village, Jalan Trans Nabire-Enaro, Dogiyai Regency-Central Papua resulting in a truck driver named Laa Duwi suffering a gunshot wound .

Head of Cartenz-2024 Peace Operations, Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., confirmed the incident and stated that the shooter was strongly suspected to be a member of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).

“Currently, we are pursuing the perpetrator of the shooting and investigating to reveal the identity of the KKB group,” said Brigadier General Faizal when confirmed.

Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, Police Commissioner. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., added that the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the calf.

“The victim’s identity is Laa Duwi, male, 46 years old from the Butonese tribe, Muslim, works in the private sector and has an address in Ikebo Village, Kamuu District, Dogiyai Regency. Said Police Commissioner. Dr. Bayu Suseno.

He continued, “Currently, the victim has been evacuated to Pratama Dogiyai Regional Hospital and referred to Paniai Regional Hospital for further treatment.

Police Commissioner. Dr. Bayu Suseno emphasized that the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force will continue to strive to enforce the law against the KKB which disrupts security in the Papua Regional Police area.
