Head of Public Relations: Suspect in the Murder of Danramil 1703-4/Aradide Successfully Arrested Cartenz Peace Ops 2024

Jayapura – The 2024 Cartenz Peace Operation was once again successful after successfully arresting a suspect suspected of being involved in the murder of Danramil 1703-4/Aradide, First Lieutenant (Anm.) Oktovianus Sogalrey. During the arrest carried out on Saturday (11/05), the suspect who was caught was taking away the victim’s cell phone.

Head of Public Relations of the Papua Regional Police, Police Commissioner. Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, S.H., S.I.K., M.Kom, confirmed the success of the operation when providing confirmation to media crew.

The suspect who was arrested was Anan Nawipa, a man who was born in Widimeida on July 6 1991 and whose address is Widimeida Village, Paniai Regency, he explained.

In this operation, a number of pieces of evidence were also confiscated, including 1 cell phone with a SIM card number belonging to the late Danramil Aradide, First Lieutenant (Anm.) Oktovianus Sogalrey, 1 machete, 1 set of L keys, 1 BRI account book, and 1 blue side bag. -black.

The perpetrator is currently undergoing further investigation at the Paniai Police Headquarters.

“Currently the perpetrator has been successfully arrested and further investigation is being carried out by Cartenz Peace Ops personnel together with the Paniai Police,” said the Head of Public Relations.
