Principal of SMP YPPGI Kepas Kopo Expresses Gratitude to Joint TNI-Polri Forces After School Building Arson Incident in Paniai

Jayapura – The Principal of SMP YPPGI Kepas Kopo, Jining, expressed gratitude to the TNI-Polri security forces for their efforts in evacuating the teachers of SD, SMP YPPGI Kepas Kopo after last night’s arson incident that affected the school buildings.

“Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the TNI-Polri for their hard work in saving us, the teachers, and our families,” said Jining on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

Furthermore, Jining hopes that the Paniai District Government can handle this incident effectively and that the local government will fulfill its duties by developing human resources through education.

“We believe that the Paniai District Government will be granted wisdom, strength, and health to address the issues occurring in Paniai,” he concluded.

Previously, on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, around 02:55 WIT, the armed criminal group (KKB) once again caused trouble by setting fire to the PAUD, SD, and SMP YPPGI Kepas Kopo school buildings.
