A Loving Touch from Polwan of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation, Building Hope for the Golden Pearl of Papua
Timika, Papua – The Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation once again shows how important togetherness and solidarity are in caring for the future of Papua.
In a series of social activities in Timika, the Policewomen (Polwan) who are members of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation emphasized that there is no difference in nation and state.
Papua is our common home, and the future of Papuan children is our responsibility.
On Thursday, August 29, 2024, the Polwan involved in the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation in Timika, held social service activities (Baksos) in several important locations in Timika.
This activity was carried out at the Mimika Caring Foundation in Minabua Village, SP 2 Timika, Mimika Baru District, and at the Yapeda Timika Orphanage in Wangirja Village, Mimika Baru District.
The theme of the 76th Anniversary of the Indonesian Women’s Police, entitled “Precision Women’s Police Support the Acceleration of Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation Towards a Golden Indonesia” became the basis for this activity.
Through this theme, the women’s police are committed to supporting inclusive and sustainable economic progress, which is certainly very relevant in efforts to build Papua as an integral part of the Republic of Indonesia.
Brigadier Ita Sombo Allo, one of the women’s police representatives from the Cartenz-2024 Peace Task Force, delivered a loving message to the children at the Caring Foundation and the Yapeda Orphanage.
“We, representatives of the extended family of the Cartenz-2024 Peaceful Operation, are here with the Polwan brothers and sisters to visit all of you in the context of the 76th Polwan Anniversary. The brothers and sisters here are extraordinary and remain happy,” she said warmly.
Brigadier Ita also expressed her appreciation to the foundation administrators who have cared for the children with great care and affection.
“We are very grateful to the foundation administrators who have taken very good care of the brothers and sisters here,” she added.
This activity is not only a form of social service, but also a real manifestation of efforts to build the spirit and ideals of the future of Papuan children.
