House of Representatives Chairman Lanny Jaya Strongly Condemns the Actions of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) which resulted in the Death of 2 People

Jayapura- Chairman of the Lanny Jaya Regency DPRD, Tanus Kogoya, also expressed deep concern over the death of one member of the Lanny Jaya Police and one civilian.

“My deepest condolences for this incident, I hope that the victim’s family will be given strength and comfort from God,” he said.

The chairman of the Lanny Jaya Regency DPRD condemned the violent shooting of a police officer named Brigpol Johan Herik Sibarani (32) and a civilian named Adi Fallo (20) on Tuesday, September 10 2024 in Lany Jaya, Papua Mountains.

Tanus Kogoya said, on behalf of the people of Lanny Jaya, that he strongly condemned the KKB’s behavior which sacrificed lives.

“On behalf of the people of Lanny Jaya, we ask that the perpetrator of the shooting be immediately arrested,” he said.

According to him, since 2017 until now Lanny Jaya has been safe from security threats.

“This incident is a big question for all of us, because the conflict that occurred so far was in Balingga and several other places but it is safe, of course there are perpetrators so it must be investigated thoroughly,” he said. .

He asked the National Police and TNI on duty at Lanny Jaya to continue to protect civilians.

“I ask the Lanny Jaya Police Chief and the Lanny Jaya Kodim to continue to protect our community,” he said.
