Ops Damai Cartenz Public Relations Task Force Strengthens Synergy with Media Through a Gathering

Timika, Papua – The Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz-2024 held a gathering with media personnel in Mimika Regency on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The event, held at Angkringan Jogja Cafe Timika, aimed to strengthen synergy and build good communication between the police and the media.

The Head of the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai 2024, Senior Commissioner of Police Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., emphasized the crucial role of the media in creating a conducive atmosphere in society, particularly in Papua.

“This gathering aims to strengthen collaboration between the police and the media, especially the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz-2024 and the media, which play a vital role in delivering accurate information to the public,” said Senior Commissioner of Police Dr. Bayu.

The Deputy Head of the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz-2024, Commissioner of Police Yusuf Tauziri, S.I.K., who led the event, reaffirmed the importance of synergy between the police and the media.

“This event is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to being transparent and maintaining good relations with our media colleagues. We recognize that the media serves as a bridge of information for the public, making effective collaboration crucial,” said Commissioner of Police Yusuf.

Commissioner of Police Yusuf also stated that this event will be held regularly to maintain good communication and continuously build trust between the police and the media.

“We plan to hold similar events regularly because we believe that good communication with the media will contribute to creating a safe and secure situation in Papua,” concluded the Deputy Head of the Public Relations Task Force.
