Papua Regional Police Chief Inaugurates Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani as New Deputy Regional Police Chief, Ready to Improve Performance Ahead of Pilkada

Jayapura – Papua Police Chief, Brigadier General Pol Patrige Rudolf Renwarin, S.H., M.Si., led the inauguration ceremony for the new Deputy Papua Police Chief, Brigadier General Dr. Pol. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos, S.I.K., M.H., at the Papua Police Headquarters Hall on Friday (6/9).

This event was attended by the Inspector General of the Papua Regional Police, Police Commissioner Drs. Yosi Muhamartha, Main Officials of the Papua Regional Police, as well as the Chief of Police/ta from the ranks of the Papua Regional Police.

In his remarks, the Papua Police Chief emphasized that the inauguration of new officials, including the handover of positions within the police, is part of the dynamics of an organization that continues to move to maintain performance and effectiveness.

“This is part of the pattern of career development for National Police personnel, both for refreshment and promotion,” said Brigadier General Patrige.

The Regional Police Chief added that it is also hoped that the transfer of officials can accelerate the work program that has been designed, so that the implementation of operational and coaching tasks at the Papua Regional Police will be of higher quality.

“With this change, we hope to foster a spirit of service and record achievements that are oriented towards community service,” he stressed.

On this occasion, the Papua Regional Police Chief expressed his congratulations to the new Deputy Regional Police Chief.

“I congratulate Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani for the trust given to him by the leadership of the National Police. Welcome to Bumi Cenderawasih,” he said, while hoping that the Deputy Chief of Police will quickly adapt to his work environment.

The Regional Police Chief also emphasized the importance of supporting the National Police Chief’s priority program which focuses on Precision Police—Predictive, Responsive and Fair Transparency.

“This program aims to improve the quality of superior National Police human resources in the current political era, and I hope that all ranks of the Papua Regional Police will immediately implement it,” said the Regional Police Chief.

Along with the improvement in the security and social security and political situation in Papua, the Regional Police Chief also emphasized that the role of the Deputy Regional Police Chief is very crucial in monitoring developments in the districts that will hold the Pilkada.

“We must monitor and communicate actively with the police chiefs to ensure the stability of security and social security, especially before the appointment of candidates for governor, deputy governor, regent and deputy regent,” said the Regional Police Chief.

Issues circulating on social media, which can affect the security situation, are also of particular concern to the Papua Police Chief. He asked all Papuan Police personnel to continue to support the new leadership and work together to maintain regional stability.
