Shoot Dead KKB, Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force Successfully Finds Firearms

The Cartenz-2024 Peace Operations Task Force succeeded in finding a short-barreled firearm, Type P1 Pistol (assembled), after shooting dead Basoka Lawiya alias Masyarakat Kogoya, who was an aide to KKB Intan Jaya leader Undius Kogoya in Paniai last Wednesday (22/5/2024/), for incidents of attacks, shootings and burning of school buildings and kiosks.

Head of Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops, Police Commissioner Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, when confirmed, confirmed the discovery of the P1 (assembled) short-barreled firearm.

“We found the firearm in the house of the fire victim, namely Fahri’s brother, and it is suspected that this was the firearm used by the perpetrator when he shot Arwin’s brother while pretending to buy cigarettes. “But the bullet hit the helmet hanging on the wall of the house,” said Head of Peace Ops Cartenz-2024.

Head of the Cartenz-2024 Damai OPS Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, also explained that the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operations Task Force had succeeded in finding the short-barreled firearm used by KKB Basoka Lawiya alias Kogoya Community during their action, and the firearm (pistol) belonged to Undius Kogoya (Leader of KKB Intan).

AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, added, the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force will continue to take action against the KKB Group which is disrupting security stability in Papua and protect the community from threats and disturbances posed by this KKB group.
