The body of Daeng Rusli, victim of KKB atrocities in Paniai, arrives in Timika

Mimika – The body of Daeng Rusli, a victim of atrocities by the Intan Jaya Armed Criminal Group (KKB), Leader Undius Kogoya in Timida Village, East Paniai District, Paniai Regency, has been successfully evacuated today in Timika, Wednesday, June 12 2024.

Head of the Cartenz Peace Ops 2024 Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno,. S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., on this occasion expressed their condolences for the death of a civilian named Rusli as a result of the actions of the KKB led by Undius Kogoya.

“It is very unfortunate that civilians have again become victims of KKB atrocities and for your information, at 08.25 WIT, the body of Daeng Rusli, a victim of KKB atrocities in Paniai, arrived at Timika’s Mosez Kilangin Airport using the Reven PK RVV aircraft,” said the Head of the Public Relations Task Force.

“At 10.00 WIT, Daeng Rusli’s body was flown to his hometown in Bulusibatang, Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi Province using a Lion Air plane,” said AKBP Bayu.

AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno added that Cartenz’s Ops Peace 2024 team will continue to strive to bring a sense of security to the people of Papua.
