This is the criminal record from KKB Lupa Waker
The Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force succeeded in arresting a member of the Puncak area Armed Criminal Group (KKB), Junius Waker alias Lupa Waker, in Tembagapura District, Mimika Regency, Central Papua, Tuesday (21/05).
To find out the identity of the arrested KKB, namely Junius Waker, male, 21 years old, address at Kp. Kimbeli, Tembagapura District. Junius Waker is a member of the KKB led by Goliath Tabuni and has joined since 2015.
Head of Peace Operations Cartenz 2024 Police Commissioner Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H on his occasion explained that Junius Waker was a member of the KKB led by Goliath Tabuni and DPO Puncak Police.
“Yes, that’s right, Junius Waker is the Puncak Police DPO for the PT Unggul Camp Burning action, Mundidok, Puncak Regency. Junius Waker is also an active KKB member led by Goliath Tabuni, his role will still be investigated by investigators from the Cartenz Peace Operations Gakkum Task Force in Timika,” Said Head of Ops
Meanwhile, Head of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, when giving a statement, said that KKB member Junius Waker was the perpetrator of the burning of the camp and heavy equipment belonging to PT. Excelled in Mundidok, Puncak Regency in February 2021.
“Junius Waker is the Puncak Police DPO for the action of burning the camp and heavy equipment belonging to PT. Superior. “Junius Waker alias Lupa Waker is an active KKB member led by Goliath Tabuni who was involved in several shootings,” said Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, AKBP. Dr. Bayu Suseno.
Meanwhile, KKB Junius Waker alias Lupa Waker was directly involved in 3 (four) shootings, namely;
- On November 3 2017, involved in the shooting of a white LWB car located at MP 69
- On March 27 2020, he was involved in the shooting of foreign nationals in Kuala Kencana which resulted in 1 person dying and 2 people being injured.
- On December 19 2019, he was involved in the shooting of TNI members (Ops Nemangkawi) who were on patrol which resulted in the death of 1 TNI member and 3 TNI members.
AKBP. Dr. Bayu Suseno added that currently KKB member Junius Waker alias Lupa Waker is still at the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force Command Post in Timika for further examination.
“Yes, the suspect Junius Waker is still at the ODC Command Post in Timika undergoing an examination process to determine his role in the KKB Top Leadership Goliath Tabuni,” concluded Bayu
