TPNPB-OPM Threatens to Shoot Intan Jaya Regent Candidate, Sebby Sambom: Boycott 2024 Regent Election

Papua- In a statement, Sebby Sambom, who is the spokesperson for the TPNPB National Commission, wrote that the TPNPB KKB threatened to shoot the Intan Jaya Regent Candidate.

Sebby planned that this shooting would be carried out if the Intan Jaya Regent Candidate campaigned in the field in the Intan Jaya area.

Apart from that, Seeby said that his party would also boycott the 2024 Regent Election which will be held soon.

According to Sebby, KOMNAS TPNPB Central Headquarters Management has received an official report from TPNPB Kodap VIII Intan Jaya troops on Saturday 09 November 2024 at 13:00 noon local time.

The report stated that the TPNPB Kodap VIII Intan Jaya was ready to shoot dead the candidate for Baputi Intan Jaya who was carrying out an Indonesian political campaign in the center of Sugapa City, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua.

Apart from that, the TPNPB Kodap VIII Intan Jaya troops said that the regional election campaign in Intan Jaya, Yahukimo, Nduga, Oksibil, Puncak, Puncak Jaya and the entire land of Papua was the same as dancing on the suffering of the Papuan people.

“We are ready to shoot dead and disperse all regional election activities and boycott the elections in Intan Jaya for the sake of an independent Papua,” he wrote.

The Papua Regional Police had anticipated this by carrying out security incentives first.

Apart from that, TNI-Polri troops will already occupy areas where the KKB will carry out these actions.
